Weights® III (advanced) with Francesca Fisher (VHS)
The circuit workout that changed the way we exercise!
Weights® IIIa Super Advanced Strength Training Workout with Weights Fitness expert Francesca Fisher and four of her students from 1994 star in this VHS video. It combines strength training and a cardiovascular workout by going from one exercise to the next with little or no resting time between sets. The gals in the workout are using 7-pound (each) dumbbells, but you are welcome to use less or more weight if want. You can custom-design this workout to match your level of fitness. The repetitions are kept on the slow side to accommodate those using heavier weights. Our highly-sculpted clients use a 20 to 30-pound bodybar when doing the leg exercises, and some of the upper body exercises. It's good to have three or four different sized weights laying around when doing this workout which will allow you to individualize the intensity and training level. You can also incorporate pyramid training and "going to failure" principles in this workout. What's nice about this workout is that the time goes by quickly and when you're done, you'll know you've gotten in a good workout for that day.
