FREE Geri-Fit® Exercise Classes  
FREE Geri-Fit Strength Training exercise classes for older adults! Improve strength and balance by working out with a set of light dumbbell weights. No floorwork, dancing or choreography to learn. Bring your own dumbbell weights ranging in size from 2-5 pounds (depending on your strength), a stretch band, and water to drink. Call the phone number to register.

Geri-Fit® Virtual Strength Training Classes  
Build strength, improve balance, increase flexibility and help prevent falls in this evidence-based exercise program for older adults. These are virtual classes conducted by a Certified Geri-Fit instructor on a DVD. You'll work out along with the instructor in this 45-minute class. Please bring your own dumbbells, stretch band, and water to drink. Classes are free but donations are welcomed.

Geri-Fit Strength Training for Older Adults TUCSON  
Improve strength, stamina, balance and arthritic conditions in this evidence-based 45-minute strength training exercise class for older adults. No aerobics or floorwork! Fall Prevention Expo  
Meet professional healthcare providers that are dedicated to helping seniors stay fit and healthy. The Geri-Fit Company will offer free information on strength training exercises that you can do at home to help regain strength that's been lost through the aging process. We'll also talk about ways to make your home fall-proof so that you lessen your chances of falls. This presentation is a sit, watch, and learn... participation is not required. You're welcome to take notes and handouts will be given. Free!

Body Sculpting™ Classes  
Body Sculpting™ is a one-hour strength training exercise class that shapes and tones the entire body and helps prevent osteoporosis. No dancing, jumping or jazzing… just results! Depending on your age and fitness level, bring a set of 3 or 5-pound dumbbells (each), a stretch band, an exercise mat and water bottle. Accommodates beginner to advanced fitness levels... work out at your own pace. For ages 18 and over.

FREE Sample Geri-Fit class  
During this 45-minute sample Geri-Fit class, participants have the chance to try the class or you can sit and take notes. Our Certified Strength Trainer will demonstrate 15 primary strength training exercises that are used in the Geri-Fit strength training exercise program. Learn how to strengthen the spine, hips, wrists, and improve posture and balance at the same time. No participation is required. Sign-ups for classes starting the following week will be held immediately afterwards. Open to men and women. Advance registration is required. Geri-Fit Online  
An online version of Geri-Fit done by logging in with a user name and password. Requires internet access from a phone, computer or TV. Price is lifetime access for one workout video. We also have a 3 video package at $50 (saves $10.)

Geri-Fit® Personal Fitness Training (one hour)  
Did you know that you lose one pound of muscle each year past the age of 50? If you're not lifting weights, you need to start now! Learn evidence-based strength training exercises from a Certified Senior Strength Training Specialist to help with gait, balance, strength, stamina and flexibility. Geri-Fit® National Instructor Certification  
This one day training and certification workshop is for instructors who want to learn evidence-based strength training exercises and stretches suitable for the older adult population particularly older adults over the age of 75. This course was developed for instructors who will be teaching the evidence-based Geri-Fit® group exercise program at licensed facilities such as senior centers, hospitals, retirement communities, and fitness studios but is also suitable for in-home caregiving and one-on-one older adult personal fitness training.

Credits: Strength Training for Seniors fitness instruction course is approved by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) for .8 CECs, the California Department of Social Services (Vendor #2000509) for RCFEs, and the NCCAP (Vendor #32118-18.)

    Pre-Study required: Candidates must read the training manual and view two DVDs prior to attending the one day certification. Allow 20 hours to complete the home study and exercise practice. Attendees must pass a practical and written examination in order to receive their Certificate of Completion.

    Geri-Flex® Stretch Class  
    This 30-minute exercise class incorporates stretches used in ballet, tai chi, yoga, pilates and physical therapy. It helps ease arthritic conditions and bursitis in the hips which will help you to get around easier. We'll stretch the entire body especially the hips and lower back. You will need to get on the floor, so please bring an exercise mat and a stretch band. Some stretches may be done in a chair, if needed. This is a wonderful exercise program for seniors and golfers, but all ages and fitness levels can attend. Just stretch at your own pace. Enrollment is open to men and women. Classes are taught by a Certified Geri-Fit Instructor.
