Geri-Fit National Instructor Training and Certification Program (online)
Available to pre-selected instructors teaching at licensed facilities
This accredited online training program was designed exclusively for licensed instructors or instructors that have been pre-approved by licensed sites. If you are already leading an evidence-based program such as A Matter of Balance, Bingocize, Walk with Ease, Tai Chi, or other EBPs or CDSME programs, you are automatically eligible to take the Geri-Fit instructor training and certification program. This course requires a Practical Assessment and an 80 question online written examination in order to pass. Successful candidates will receive a Certificate of Completion that they are a Certified Geri-Fit instructor. This course is accredited by the NCCAP for 19 credit hours. All instructors going through online training are required to pre-register on the national directory of Certified Geri-Fit instructors before receiving your login instructions. In the Additional Comments section of the form, indicate at which facility you will be teaching Geri-Fit classes. This information will be verified with the licensed facility before online access will be provided.
