Isn't walking enough to keep my bones and muscles strong?
NO! Walking is not enough! Resistance Training (RT) is highly recommended by the medical community as having more muscle and strength ensures that older adults will have a higher level of function as we continue to age. RT must be added to weekly routine workouts in order for muscles to remain strong and healthy well into our golden years.
