Class Description: Did you know that you lose one pound of muscle each year past the age of 50? If you're not lifting weights, you need to start now! Learn strength training exercises and techniques from a Certified Senior Strength Training Specialist to help with gait, balance, strength, stamina and flexibility. These private lessons will teach you strength training exercises that are designed to build strength and increase bone density which helps prevent osteoporosis. Bring a bath towel and water to drink during the workout. All equipment is provided or you can bring your own dumbbells. Each session is 30 minutes long by appointment only and payable in advance. Directions: Personal Fitness Training at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center at 29995 Evans Rd. in Menifee. To register, call 909-838-1953. Geri-FitŪ Strength Training for Older Adults offers Geri-FitŪ Private Lessons at the KC Senior Center. Private Lessons are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays of each week (male trainer). Hours are 8:00 am- 4:30 pm by appointment. All sessions are booked for 30-minutes. Fees are payable in advance and once paid, they are non-refundable unless you provide a 48-hour cancellation notice. We suggest signing up one week early in order to assure your time slot is available and held for you. We accept "standing" appointments where you can have one time slot all to yourself for four weeks straight.

Private Lesson fees are $35 per person, or $45 for two people. Each session is 30 minutes long. You can save $20 when you sign up for four private individual lessons for $120 (regularly $140), or $140 for two people (semi-private lessons) at one time (regularly $180). Semi-private (two people) can be your exercise buddy, husband and wife, another family member, significant other, or a friend. All equipment is provided, however, we ask that you bring your own towel (for optional laying exercises done on a weight bench.)
